| A large rock, the monolith holds great significance for Jains. Lord Mahavir is said to have meditated upon it, while seated in the Godohasan posture, during his twelve and a half years of wandering before he attained Keval Gyan. Underneath the rock is a cave where Shrimadji frequently meditated. Concealed by rocky formations, the area abounds with numerous caves where great saints are said to have meditated. | |
